I really liked darnified ui mod for fallout 3. I suspect you have the HUDScale numbers backwards?

No need to modify the ini - the font is configurable through the DUI config. Otherwise, in the Pipboy views and menu messages, GREAT MOD. SFontFile_4=Textures\Fonts\Monofonto_Large.fnt SFontFile_4=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_Large.fnt These two others may be acceptable as well: Then open Fallout3\Data\Menus\prefabs\DUIF3Settings.xml SFontFile_4=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_Medium.fnt To get the HUD back to what it somewhat looked like originally, open up that fallout.ini and change font 4 to THIS: My main concern was the HUD was too small (I'm fine with original there) and the 2-10 second messages which appear in the upper left was in a typeface too small to be readable by myself. I may have to look in on the new changes. I'm still using ver # 10, since April May 2009 and it has worked out well.

It wasn't until I came here to see what changes you recommended and compared them to my. The only problem I had with it was my own - I re-installed FO3 recently and thought I told FOMM to make the proper ini changes. Anyway, neither of us have noticed any problems with your mod so I was curious as to what you had planned for it in the future.

At least with that game most of the people who used my mods were civil I guess because it's older, it attracts a different style of player. I've done a number of Morrowind mods and there were more than a few times I wanted to reach through the screen and slap the person that left a comment. The bulk of the testing would also be done here, and I wouldn't have to deal with too many pre-teens throwing tantrums at me when stuff doesn't go their way.Īt least 90% of all bad ratings are given in anger or out of ignorance - I kid you not.Oh, you're preaching to the choir with that. I just wanted to make it more or less feature complete first.
